Sunday, June 9th
Left Camp Knotty-Ash and boarded train for Winchester - 250 miles to the south-east. Enthusiasm shown by population on every hand. Our squad occupied a compartment in the coach. Fine ride and enjoyed the beautiful and picturesque countryside immensely. Arrived Winchester 9:30pm -- Camp -- 10:50pm.
