This is the collective memoirs of George W. Tomek, Sr., who fought on the Western Front as part of the 122nd Regiment Field Artillery 33rd Division of the American Expeditionary Forces during the Great War.
This is Camp Winnaldown and its a big one -- all wooden barracks with many thousands of English "Tommies" training here. Rations poor. Camp situated on a high hill overlooking town of Winchester. Wonderful view. Wrote letters home.
